In the late 1800's, the Roman Catholic priest Father Damien de Veuster dedicated his life to the physical and spiritual care of Hansen's disease patients on the confined "leper colony" of Kalaupapa, Molokaʻi. In this one-man play, Damien (Terence Knapp) reminisces about his life in Kalaupapa and his battle between his life as a human being and as a servant of God.
