Homecoming Documentary Featured on WBEZ's Worldview
From WBEZ's Worldview:
Pukapuka is one of the most remote atolls in the Cook Islands. It’s one of the world’s oldest cultures dating back more than 2,000 years. Now, its entire existence is being threatened by climate change. The documentary, Homecoming: A Film About Pukapuka, hopes to tell the island’s story, before it’s gone. The subjects of the film, John Frisbie and Amelia Borofsky, join us from Honolulu, along with filmmaker, Gemma Cubero del Barrio.
Homecoming: A Film About Pukapuka has received PIC R&D funding and recently completed a successful Kickstarter campaign. Learn more about the project at: www.facebook.com/HomecomingDoc
