Two women at odds over a plan to rebuild one community with houses taken from the other. This film explores what it means to own a home and feel connected to a place and a community. It looks at how the health of a community is impacted when the state changes the rules. What can become of a new Maori approach to social housing that is separate from the state? And what becomes of a community that no longer has social housing?
