We are happy to have sponsored the Pacific Showcase at the 37th annual Hawaii International Film Festival, presented the PIC HIFF Trailblazer Award to Taika Waititi, presented the Native Lenses | ʻŌiwi Optics: A Community Panel on Indigenous Filmmaking with Chris Eyre, and much more.

Filming will take place between Jan 6 - 12, 2017 TBC. It will be a half-day (morning) shoot. At present we are offering meals and a copy of the finished film, plus our deep gratitude. If funds allow, there could be a small compensation. This is a Union and Non-Union production.

Soros Equality Fellowship - December 20, 2017
The U.S. Programs' Equality team, in collaboration with the Documentary Photography Project, seeks applicants for its Soros Equality Fellowship, which aims to support emerging mid-career professionals who will become long-term innovative leaders impacting the racial justice field. The fellowship award provides individuals with a grant of $100,000 to support production of an innovative racial justice project over the course of 18 months.

Welcome to the Waimea Ocean Film Festival! The festival brings a high-powered and non-stop schedule of film, speakers, filmmaker Q&As, exhibits, special events and important conversation to the Big Island of Hawaiʻi every January. In 2018, films and programs run January 1-4 at venues in Waimea, the Mauna Kea Resort and the Fairmont Orchid, Hawaiʻi, before moving to the Four Seasons Resort Hualālai January 5-9.
